Global equities were the standout performer in 2020, rising more than 10% (on an unhedged basis) by year end and erasing and surpassing their steep losses in Q1, when COVID-19 uncertainty was at its peak.

Global equity markets surged in November, buoyed by news of multiple successful COVID-19 vaccine trials and emerging clarity around the US presidential election result.

October was a mixed month for investors. International equities fell, but emerging markets and Australian shares bucked the trend to record solid gains.

The Six Park portfolios were down -0.8% to -2.5% in September but are still up +0.7% to +1.8% for the quarter after equity markets registered their first decline since March.

The Six Park portfolios gained +1.0% to 3.1% for the month, with our higher risk portfolios benefiting most from the equity market rally.
